@stillwater_artisanal Extra Dry, Sake Style Saison, 3.8%
This has been brewed with Rice to lend to the flavours of Sake and generally it's got a fairly light body, there's some earthy, herbal, zesty tart lemon notes from the hops (Citra, Hallertau Blanc, Sterling) The Saison yeast giving quite subtle peppery, spicy notes and on the lighter side of funkiness. Finish is super clean, crisp and dry which lends itself to drinking more like a Pilsner....it's definitely super light, crisp and refreshing and can definitely see it's place on a Summers day
Not quite what I expected but then again it is a Sake Saison, the addition of the rice and hops definitely give this a dry edge but didn't get too many Sake vibes but recommend if you want a light, crisp, easy drinking beer
Interesting to try! I feel like I've accidentally just posted all the beers I'd reach for on sunny days this week 😎 ...
🦌 Mocha V.B.M - Very Big Moose 🦌
A legendary @fiercebeer beer brewed with coffee roasted by @brewdog ! Smooth coffee, balanced with chocolate notes & huge hits of vanilla 🍫 The VBM pours dark, thick and syrupy, with very little medium tan head. Aromas are sweet lactose and caramel, and although roasty malts are evident, the coffee is a little overpowered by the chocolate☕. The alcohol content is high at 13% ABV, but despite the sweetness of the beer, @fiercebeer make no attempt to disguise it's potency and have in fact balanced it perfectly 🔥
The Very Big Moose is a very big beer! 🤘 Enjoyed in store with mates at @beer. 360 🍻 ...

Other Half, Triple Space Diamonds, Imperial IPA | 10.5%
DDH Space Diamonds is a classic so well into trying this amped up version... and it's a fine beer no doubt, loaded with Galaxy hops. Similar to the Galaxy release of Planets Don't Twinkle by Verdant, I get a flat dry earthy note right at the end which sticks out a bit. That aside all good, while the DDH version still bosses it

"Silicon Head" 💀 from @obrotherbrewing | 8.1% DIPA with Amarillo and Citra
Pours a bright hazy yellow, quite carbonated. Very dank with a nice citrus edge 🍋🍊. Really bitter on the finish. The booze isn't hiding here either

I was relatively unimpressed with this 🤷♂️ add it to the catalogue of @deyabrewery beers I’ve had that don’t taste very much of hops at all, and just taste like Deya’s house yeast - which for me now is most of their brews.
Typical Deya triumphs such as Invoice/Haze utilise Citra, which works really well with the tropical toned yeast they used a produces a really fantastic end result - unfortunately for me, beers like this are just flat. I mean it says it has Enigma and Denali in it and it tastes like they weren’t even in the room when it was brewed - those are some powerful as 🦆 hops and there is absolutely no taste of them whatsoever; as far as Deya’s hopping goes, I never find it that strong and I find it quite odd that super fresh beers produced by them yield no over powering hop characteristic, I find a beer 1/2 days old probably should... You can tell me that you really enjoyed this beer but just know, if you think this beer tastes “tropical” then you can’t taste the hops either, the yeast is tropical, the hops they used ARE NOT - tastes like yeast, not hops - would not recommend 🤷♂️ ...
