This week my little buddy @coopercronk_ announced his retirement at the end of this season. What an amazing career. I don’t know how many countless times I’ve used your story to hopefully teach young players today that by being a good person and working ‘REALLY’ hard you can achieve anything in our game. It sounds like a simple recipe to success “input = output.” You only get out what you put in.
Coops your a wonderful example of that, as you’ve built yourself into the ultimate rugby league player and team mate. You’ve earned everything you have achieved in our game.
They simply don’t get better than you.
Cooper made/makes people around him better players and people by the way he conducts himself, constantly looking for perfection within himself and willing to spend the time required to achieve it. He also set high standards for those around him. I remember him once saying “our roles as individuals are not important, but as a link in the team our roles are VITAL.”
Cooper has shown us all that we can achieve whatever we want in any part of life.
The other great thing about him is he knows/knew😂 how to have a great time. (As you can see in the video) some wonderful memories of great times.
An absolute Rockstar, congratulations 🤙🏼
