Loving 😍 this quote. Should be a mantra. Especially for the shy ☺️. I used to be really shy (still probably considered shy to some ☺️), but when I began my yoga journey daily I became more outgoing. Mostly because I practice in public: at the gym among everyone not just in the group exercise room, at public beaches, airports, hotel lobbies. ANYWHERE. So I have a lot of people that want to talk to me about yoga. It’s helped me be less shy. Does yoga make me feel foxy? Honestly not really. 🤫At 41 going on 42 (10 days. Yes I am counting down 😆) I am still learning feeling foxy is ok. .
Day 2 of #fab40plusyogis is any pose you feel foxy in and I couldn’t think of a specific pose, but I love compass pose and how I feel in it. I feel pretty in it. .

✨The joy of just being✨
Our little people are able to experience pure joy and happiness without the over thinking and busyness, disrupting the present moment. Something most adults have forgotten how to do. Just carefree playing, imagining, exploring, simply being.
We lose this skill once our left brain comes fully into play, at around the age of seven. Then we get bombarded with school and homework. Our imaginative, playful right brain slowly shrinks. Isn't that sad?
There are studies that show how meditation can increase right brain activity. Which leads to more creative and intuitive thinking. More 'being' (right brain) and less 'doing' (left brain)
I think we all need a little more of this in our lives 🌟
