Not always a given in my mind, even though I’d like to think so. 🧡 So for today, I’m thankful that I have a job to go to where I can hold space for people as they process their stories, that I have a family ready to welcome me home at the end of the day with food, laughter and love, and that I got to sleep in for an extra 3 hours this morning! Love to you and yours 🥰

lessons my mom has taught me -
You have to be okay with feeling sad sometimes, to experience the "good" emotions fully.
Empathy is EVERYTHING.
Own who you are, don't stop growing, and never change yourself for someone else.
Crowd out the bad with the good.
It will always feel better in the morning.
Communicate, and express how you feel.
Trust in the universe/god.
And most recently, let go!
Thank you, Mom. What's the biggest lesson you've learned from your parent(s)? #radicalgratitude ...
our family coat of arms. today feels like a huge exhale. after a few weeks of multiple rounds of strep throat (wash your hands!) and atypical moles getting removed and healed (get skin scans!), we are back to this. here. we knocked off work early, loaded our rigs, and rode from our house to here. these are flags of freedom. these are vehicles of adventure. this is our home, our solace. i’m inhaling it all in. #radicalgratitude#bikepacking#microadventure#outsideisfree#pranayama ...
#RadicalGratitude#Grateful : Thank you God for the miracles unfolding in my life as I type in this now moment and far far far beyond!!! ...
I have to toot the horn of @medicalmedium for his book, life changing foods! As per Anthony, “Chaga possesses immune-system-enhancing nutrients that revitalize white blood cell count by increasing the production of lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophils, basophils, and eosinophils, so that your body can battle invaders such as toxins, bacteria, and fungi.” ✨
Aaaand that’s just a tiny snippet! This recipe was so simple and delicious! I’m obsessed with the information in his books, because it’s quite literally changing my life for the better. More on that soon! Here’s the recipe!
2 teaspoons chaga powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon raw honey
1/4 coconut milk
Poor two cups of hot water over chaga and cinnamon, stir in honey, then coconut milk. That’s it! All his recipes are this easy! Thanks brother (and spirit 🤩).
Thanksgiving is coming to an end with a wonderful friendsgiving (and one cousin) since family lives far away and, of course, it's easy to feel grateful for how full my life feels right now and all the people in it. But today and onward, I want to focus on practicing radical gratitude. I want to be grateful for the hard stuff too...the difficult experiences, the challenging people in my life, the failures and disappointments because without all these things, I wouldn't be the woman I am today. I can't change my past and I don't think I'd want to because every experience and person has taught me an important lesson. So even when I don't feel like it, I will practice radical gratitude and trust that the hard stuff is there for a reason. So thank you life for all you have given me. Happy Thanksgiving. .

Why read a nice book about #gratitude ? After all, being thankful is not controversial. Everyone agrees that gratitude is a good thing. Nor is it rocket science. It is simple.
But radical gratitude is also powerful, provocative, life-changing. It's like a pair of glasses that get progressively sharper: the more we thank, the more we see to be thankful for. Gratitude is the lens that reveals God's incredible grace at work. It is the key to tangible, everyday joy.
True to #EllenVaughn 's signature style, this book overflows with unforgettable, surprising stories that show gratitude's transforming power. It is fun, slightly quirky, deep . . . and immensely refreshing.

Right now, it seems as though the collective has been experiencing a lot of miscommunication, frustration, obstacles, and pain. It’s times like these when it’s crucial to practice #radicalgratitude . Remember that the pain is temporary, and remind yourself of everything there is to be grateful for. Good and “bad.” I always remind myself that if it weren’t for the obstacles in my life, i would not be where i am now. It’s all part of our journey and our healing, and the hard times allow us to make room for EXPANSION. Healing is not linear. It’s a winding but beautiful road. So today I give you this mission: vocalize your gratitude. Put it out into the universe, i promise it’s listening. I’m grateful for too much to even write down. But one thing’s for sure. The whale and monarch butterfly migrations happening sure are magical 🌞 ...
