Repost from @zayaan_inaya_mama and here's what she experienced in the @warrior_academy. "Martial Arts is not about fighting; it’s about building Character - @seb.bates.
So I have recently enrolled Zayaan for martial arts classes at @warrior_academy#WarriorFamily 🥋
Before signing him up, I went through their website to see how kids can benefit from such classes.
I found the warrior method very interesting as the methodology focuses on the 3 C’s, improving Confidence, Conduct and Concentration.
Zayaan is a very confident child. Alhamdulillah but I struggle a lot with his concentration at home.
At @warrior_academy , they teach meditation, using focus drills and implementing sequencing into their classes, which rapidly builds concentration in students.
He has attended 2 sessions and so far doing great.
At his first class, he was given a test to complete so that he can earn his first white belt and uniform for his 2nd class. I was happy to see how he was keen to do little things like making up his bed in the morning, tidying up his clothes and toys also he was willing to help me in the kitchen so that he can get extra points.
I also had a chance to speak with the founder and Head instructor @seb.bates at @warrior_academy. He is originally from the UK. He believes the development of character through Martial Arts applies to all styles from boxing to traditional Asian arts.
At @warrior_academy , they help parents, like us, transform our children into Confident, highly focused leaders by developing a Black Belt Character within weeks. They exist to inspire young people to seek challenge and adventure through their martial arts classes, teaching them that they can make a global impact and lead to a positive change in the world.
I can’t wait to see Zayaan’s progress in his upcoming classes. Stay tuned as I will be sharing his journey with you guys. 😀
