Benches, squat racks, cardio equipment, barbells… why are they so popular? Because they are the obvious things you know you need to do during a workout 🏋️♂️ However, what people often overlook are the little muscles, such as the rear delts. This muscle is situated at the back of your shoulder, so they aren’t visible for you. That’s why many people forget or refuse to train them, since they're only "a detail" 🚫
The rear delts may be a small muscle group, but without strong rear delts your overall shoulder strength will suffer. Not to mention that underdevelopped rear delts lead to a terrible looking posture & eventually a painful one. Training them with enough frequency will save you from these problems 🙌

You can add this exercise to shoulder days as well as back workouts. Effective to isolate the rear delts and the middle back to make sure you maintain a balanced physique .
▶️How-to tips ....
❌Keep a slight bend in your elbows .
❌Squeeze your scapula together as tight as you can on each rep .
❌Focus on pulling with your back and rear delt. Don't use momentum .
❌Use a weight you can handle in a fairly comfortable way. No need to load these up with too much weight, since your form suffers from it .
▶️ 4-6 sets of 12-16 reps .
▶️Optional: add intensity by using dropsets. Perform 12 reps - drop weight - do another 8 reps .
