This is what “I’m scared to post this but I hope it’s going to help show someone that THEY can get past the hard” looks like. 
I know you’re scared to start, because what if you fail, just like you have before. But I’m going to ask you>> what hard are you willing to live with?? It’s hard not being able to complete a workout when you get started, but it’s not as hard as not being able to run around with my daughter. 
It’s hard feeling like I’m not getting to where I want to be faster, but not as hard as it is having to go in the dressing room & hating how every single thing looks on me. 
I want to love me>> all of me. When I was in the middle of my weight loss journey, I never once thought about quitting because of all the lose skin I might get, i was just excited that I was actually making a change. Now, is it hard to love my skin? Sometimes. But it’s NOTHING compared to how I felt about my body before.  I may have 5-10 lbs of skin hanging on me, but I also have a joy filled smile. & if we are being honest, it’s the best hardest choice I ever made. To love myself, unapologetically. .

CURRENT SHAPE, STATS, GOALS, AND REGIMEN ❤️⁣⁣⁣

Weight: 117 lbs ⁣⁣⁣
Height: 5’5 ⁣⁣⁣
Percent Body Fat: not checking ⁣⁣probably around 14-15% (females are higher and I store in my lower body) ⁣
⁣
⭐️ Goals: maintain current body composition or even add a little more muscle and curves to my lower body. From a wellness perspective I am focusing on balancing my hormones and improving my gut health. ⁣
⁣
🍎 Macros: Still taking a mental break from tracking, however I still weigh most my food to have an appropriate serving size for my body. I am simply focusing on getting high-quality protein with each meal, plenty healthy fats like avocado, coconut oil, olives, ghee, almonds, and fatty cuts of fish, and placing most of my starches around my workouts. I cook 95% of my meals, because I like to have control over the quality and ingredients, especially since I have a history of gut issues and food intolerances. ⁣⁣⁣

💪Workouts: 5x per week weight training. 2 upper body and 3 lower body days. Zero cardio, I burn plenty though weight-lifting as it is and i’m not trying to lean out anymore, if anything I want to add a little more curves. ⁣

To be honest, I’ve had some of the toughest mental battles of my life in 2019...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There has been a handful of times this year that I’ve thought about giving up on my dreams. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There have been times I’ve cried out of frustration because I COULD not figure out how to solve some of my toughest obstacles to date. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s only March and I’ve already experienced more feelings of defeat than I did in 2018. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But here’s what I did...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I acknowledged my feelings of doubt, defeat and sadness. I’ve allowed myself to feel and embrace those emotions instead of suppress them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
THEN I got my butt up and went HARDER. 👊🏾⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I kept going even when I was on the brink of giving up, because ultimate defeat was not an option.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And because of those moments of extreme doubt and my willingness to get back up every time I fell on my face...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am now headed back in the right direction. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Feeling defeated is a STRONG feeling.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
