HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU EAT? 🕚
This is a topic that I have been researching for a while now and while I don’t have all the answers, my own research and experimentation has really opened up my perspective 👀 #foreverlearning ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was always taught that eating small amounts every two hours was the best way to keep blood sugars steady. For so long, I followed this myself and I can’t say I had “negative” results by any means but for the last two months or so I have been intermittently fasting to see what it will do for me and honesty I have been amazed by the results 🤭
Just by changing up when I eat I’ve experienced:
🔆 Hormone Regulation
☯️ Minimal Stress/Irritability
🔥 Reduced Inflammation
🧠 Increased Focus
🍪 Almost No Cravings (esp sugar)
💥 Lower Body Fat %
💦 Decreased Bloating
🌱 Better Digestion
⚡️ Steady Energy (most days)
💤 WAY Better Sleep
🏋🏽♀️ Increased Strength in the Gym
💪🏼 Increased Overall Muscle Tone
Now I’m not saying intermittent fasting is something you should do, I still genuinely believe that everybody is so different and that each person responds best to different ways of life but what I am saying is that I don’t hate fasting nearly as much as I thought I would 🤷🏼♀️
