I’m so tired of coloring in this book.lol. Very glad I’m almost done. 📿Teacher training has been a journey to say the least. Had to open my eye 👁 even wider to spiritual expansion....kinda learned a new language and a few words in the process. Ongoing evaluating my personal practice/style and how to teach to others needs, not my own. I actually still work 40hrs a week Corp America job, which makes doing all of this that much harder. As well as launched a brand TheYogiCloset (trademarked it) and developed 2 signature products within that brand...candles and tea. ...and working on a 3rd (modest yoga & fitness attire and t-shirts) but I need a manufacturer. If you know any holla at me please. I honestly have no idea where this is all going...but it has to be somewhere cool.lol. Young (kinda)...Black (unapologetically so)...and Gifted👑

🧘🏾♀️Cow’s Head Pose (Gomukhasana) is an excellent way to unify the upper and lower body. Activates the leg and arm muscles at the same time cultivating a harmony between the upper and lower body. ..Remember Yoga is about the breathe...not the technicalities of the pose. The more you breath and allow oxygen to flow into the muscles and body...the more you will find the muscles elongate and you can relax into the pose.
🧘🏾♀️Vasisthasana (Side Arm Balance) Amazing pose for building strength and stamina in shoulders, core, and buttock. I prefer to breathe into this pose with my eyes closed. And feel where the body aligns itself. Promotes mental clarity and sparks a positive can do attitude.
✨Listening to your body is a beautiful skill you grow and develop as you practice yoga. It’s perfectly ok to modify or adapt a pose so that your body actually benefits from the posture. Anantasana (Pose of Infinity)🧘🏾♀️. Cultivates a sense of limitlessness and rejuvenates the nervous system.
