Our new album, 'Made for More', is a reflection of what we want everyone to know - we are made for more than just existing, but to live in relationship with Almighty God through his Son, Jesus. This truth has so many implications for our lives. Our perspective changes dramatically in knowing we are made for a purpose, loved beyond measure, to thrive, to live without fear and to know that we can make a difference to the world. 'From the Day' by I Am They (above) is one of the covers on this album telling of the joyful response to the security of our rescue through Jesus. . Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing 'Song Stories' telling more about the songs written by our young people. Members of Voice want to be a voice in the world for God, and so we ask that if you enjoy the music, share it! All our music can be found on our website, Soundcloud, Spotify, iTunes & Amazon. Our prayer and hope is that others will be blessed through our music. . . . #voicemusic #voiceyouth #voiceyouthchoirandorchestra #choir #orchestra #music #worship #contemporaryworship #original #originals #songwriters #youngsongwriters #newmusic #album #Soundcloud #Spotify #iTunes #Amazonmusic #madeformore #thrive #Christian #youth #IAmThey #discipleship #voicegroups #musicnorthwest #instamusic #songs #listentothis #share

"The verse I have chosen is from Psalm 139. It is really difficult to just pick one verse, as the whole chapter is awesome! If God were to sit next to me and say these things, I would be so overwhelmed. It's impossible to put into words how happy and full of joy I am that God thinks these things about me! I want to remind everyone that it is written about them! It's not just for the 'good' people. God loves us all this much and that's really awesome." - Corin . . . #verseoftheweek #reflection #creative #writing #blogspot #blog #Bible #Bibleverse #youth #Christianyouth #youthchoir #youthorchestra #choir #orchestra

“With a new year will come new challenges and new mistakes, but God is giving us the chance to wipe away every sin of the past and start afresh. God knows everything we’ve done wrong, our every mistake. He can use them to help us learn and for his glory. My message is to be kind to yourself. It’s okay that your not perfect because you have God who is. Be patient with yourself and let God change you to be more and more like him ❤️ Song recommendation: Day One by Matthew West” - Anna . . #verseoftheweek #reflection #creative #writing #blogspot #blog #Bible #Bibleverse #youth #Christianyouth #youthchoir #youthorchestra #choir #orchestra
”During October half-term we went to the Tower of London to visit the crown jewels. One of the most impressive objects was the Sovereign’s Sceptre with Cross, an ornamental rod which has been used at every royal coronation since 1661 and features the world’s largest cut diamond! . The sceptre is full of symbolism. It was originally inspired by the shepherd’s staff held by bishops in the church and reflects the monarch’s pastoral care of the people. It also features a cross on top of a small orb, representing Jesus’ rule and reign over the world. . When we got back from London I was reading Genesis and noticed that, when Jacob was blessing his sons towards the end of his life, he said to Judah: “The sceptre will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from his descendants, until the coming of the one to whom it belongs, the one whom all nations will honour.” . Many generations and many years before, Jacob is prophesying the coming of Jesus, the one to whom the sceptre truly belongs and before whom every knee will bow. Jesus really is the King of Kings, the one who is reigning over the whole earth and taking care of His people. . At the start of this new year, let us take a moment to think about Jesus the King. What does it mean for Jesus to be your king? Is He reigning over your life? Let us praise God that Jesus has come, will return again and that the ruler’s staff will never be taken from His hand.” - Simon . . . #verseoftheweek #reflection #creative #writing #blogspot #blog #Bible #Bibleverse #youth #Christianyouth #youthchoir #youthorchestra #choir #orchestra
It is Christmas Eve. There is so much to think about - the final preparations for tomorrow, spending time with loved ones, traditions that have been there for years and for some, there is still shopping to be done! However, I want to draw your attention to the reason we celebrate. Jesus came for us! I relate to this verse because I am pretty good at making mistakes, but Jesus still came to save me. Isn't that awesome?! I really want to encourage you to take some time with God this Christmas. In the midst of the busyness, keep God at the centre. The King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, wants to spend time with you as the perfect Father, and there is no time like the present for reaching out to God and finding rest in his presence. Even if this is a new concept or something that you haven't done before, simply take a few moments throughout the day to be in touch with God to praise him for his goodness. His so worthy and could not be more deserving of our praise for all he has done. Thanks for taking the time to read, and I pray that you are drawn closer to God this week as we take time to remember Jesus coming into the world. . Everyone at Voice wishes you all a wonderful and joyful Christmas! . "This verse means that God is steady and unbreakable and that He listens to us. Also, He's keeping us safe. God is our fortress and He protects us from evil. God is always with us, even if we don't know that." - Lucy (Junior Choir) . . . #verseoftheweek #reflection #creative #writing #blogspot #blog #Bible #Bibleverse #youth #Christianyouth #youthchoir #youthorchestra #choir #orchestra

“Rainbows never cease to amaze me. I don’t understand how they work, or where the light and rain need to be in order to make them. There can be a vibrancy in colour or they can be barely visible. The tales say theres a pot of gold at the end although I have personally never found one. However, God said to Noah - here is a sign of my promise to you. Here is a simple reminder to help you remember my faithfulness when the world bends under the weight of sin and brokenness and it’s difficult to remember that I am a loving God. If that isn’t a pot of wisdom and spiritual gold, I don’t know what is! . Usually we have a verse of the week, but this week is a little different. Take some time to remind yourself of the promises and truths God says - we’re never alone, we are loved, we are his children, we have purpose, He is trustworthy, He is faithful, He is just. I can testify to each one and to the goodness of God, even though the world is a broken place. So remind yourself, write them down, put them where you can see them, share them with others... I promise that it’s gold and totally worth the time.” - Abbi . . . #verseoftheweek #reflection #creative #writing #blogspot #blog #Bible #Bibleverse #youth #Christianyouth #youthchoir #youthorchestra #choir #orchestra
(2/2) "As a junior leader, I got the opportunity to lead a dance workshop as part of the activities afternoon on the Wednesday, also consisting of a song writing workshop and art workshop, which was somewhat daunting. It was such a great opportunity that brought me out of my comfort zone and made me rely on God even more. It was lovely to see the participants interpreting a bible verse into movements. I also got the opportunity to dance to the orchestra improvisations around ‘How Deep the Father's Love for Us.’ Initially I had choreographed a short sequence to the first verse however due to the nature of the performance I decided to abandon it and let the Holy Spirit guide me through my dancing. I improvised just like the orchestra and that was one of the first times I had really felt the Holy Spirit working within me; it was truly powerful! I was so thankful for the opportunity to use my gifts for God. . On the final night, we had our fancy dress party; the theme being ‘under the sea.’ It was great to see so many imaginative costumes and to have a night to share memories of the past week. The week concluded with a concert at the Grand theatre in Clitheroe. It was evident God was present in the concert and, as a result, many hearts were touched. The Voice residential 2018 was an incredible experience where I made friends for life and went deeper in my relationship with God." - Hannah . . . #voiceyouth #youthchoir #youthorchestra #dance #dancer #blog #contemporaryworship #worship #beavoiceintheworld #residential #holiday #review
